I never met Adam’s family but I would want to offer my deepest condolences to all of you. He was a great scholar. May his soul rest in peace, and may Allah grant you patience to endure his loss.

I’ll keep very fond memories of Adam as a cheerful, dynamic, intelligent and kind person.
And as a frequent user of some of the tools he developped, I’m grateful for somebody of his calibre to have contributed so much to the field of corpus-based lexicography.
